Welcome to all who share our enthusiasm for Jane Austen's novels.
The Jane Austen Society of Adelaide was co-founded in 1996 by Dr Madge Mitton and the late Claudia Quinn-Young. Our members come from all walks of life, and range from those who find us after a lifelong fascination with Austen's work to those newly enthralled.

Discussions usually begin with a talk. Our guest speakers are specialists on topics mostly about Austen's era, including Music, Costume, Women and the Law, and Medicine. Members of our group also present interesting, well-researched talks on the Austen's life, times or the novels. We never run out of ideas.

Come along for lively discussion, followed by afternoon tea.

Day: 3rd Saturday every month (2nd Sat in Dec.)
Time: 1:30 p.m.
